What we collect

• Your email address and account details (for authentication)
• Trip itineraries you create and save
• Conversation history with the AI companion (to provide context-aware suggestions)
• Version history of your itineraries (so you can undo changes)
• Anonymous usage events (page views, feature usage) to improve the product
• Affiliate click tracking (anonymized, used to measure which recommendations are helpful)

Your data, your rights

• We never sell, share, or monetize your personal data
• Your password is never stored in plain text — it is hashed with bcrypt and authentication uses encrypted JWT tokens
• You can delete your trips and account data at any time

AI-generated content disclaimer

Itineraries and recommendations are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI can make mistakes — opening hours, prices, addresses, and availability may be outdated or incorrect. Always verify important details (reservations, tickets, hours) directly with the venue or provider before your trip.

Third-party services

• AI providers (OpenAI, Google Gemini) — power itinerary generation and the AI companion. Your trip details are sent to these APIs for processing but are not used to train their models.
• Stripe — handles payment processing securely. We never see or store your card details.

Deleting your data

You can delete any trip from your My Trips page at any time. To delete your entire account and all associated data, please contact us at hello@fomotravel.club.
